Community Sport Initiation

This Coaching Course will equip you with the basic tools to plan safe, fun, and effective practices and show you how to teach basic ringette skills in a fun and inclusive way. You would coach players in the FUNdamentals a U12 divisions. (See pathway image below) 

Competition Introduction

This Coaching Course will preparing coaches to plan and execute fun and safe practices for their players, introduce more complex and technical elements of ringette, and plan a season with skill progression. You would use this course to coach athletes U14, U16, U19 once trained. Coaches have the opportunity to be evaluated after the course to obtain their Certified status that is used to coach competitive levels for the U14, U16 and U19 divisions. Officiating 

Ringette Canada Officiating

To become an official you must be 14 years of age and sign up for a level 1 officiating course. You can check for a list of courses here or reach out to your local association's board for information on the next course offered. Below you will find the chart on how to progress as an official.
